In the event of a natural disaster or man-made disaster or emergency, CarePlus Home Healthcare staff may be physically prevented from reaching you to provide care. CarePlus staff may also not be able to communicate with you due to down phonelines or electrical failures. Patients will be seen on a priority list with daily dressing changes, IV meds, or insulin dependent diabetics that are unable to self-administer would be our first priority. However, there should always be a backup emergency plan with family members in case we are not able to reach you. If you are in need and a nurse is not able to come, please call 911.
